What’s the Youth Website about?

Youth Website is generously supported by the Victorian Bushfire Appeal Fund and will be maintained by annual Council budget. The initiative is designed and delivered by Shire of Murrindindi Youth Services.

It is a new website utilized by the Shire of Murrindindi young people 12-25 years of age and the community, loaded with jammed packed information on youth events, youth programs, community information, facebook and fun stuff.

How do I get involved with this logo design competition?

Congratulations on making it through to the first step, of the competition by logging in to the website.

Am I eligible to enter?

For your chance to win a great prize to the value of $300 you must be aged between 12- 25, living, working, and studying within the Shire of Murrindindi. If you are 12 or 13 years of age you need to supply us with your parent/guardian's signiture on your applicaiton form.

When does it officially open?

Competition Open Date: 16 June 2010, 9.00am.

How many entries am I able to send?

You are able to send in up to three entries online and by post.

This competition sounds cool…..so, how do I enter?

The Murrindindi new youth website currently called ‘Youth Website’ requires you to create a new, fun and catchy name you may still like to include the words Youth Website with your logo; in addition to this you must also design the logo remember when designing your logo consider design elements such balance, colour, contrast, font, form, line, shade, space, style, texture, style and contrast.

Your format design may be delivered to us in one of the following options:

• Adobe Photoshop
• BMP
• JPG
• Publisher
• Word
• Drawing/Painting by hand

The desired aspect for use on the website is 100 pixels wide by 60 pixels high.

I’ve completed my design logo, what next?

Once you have completed your logo design attach your entry with the application form as provided. Ensure that you have read the terms and conditions as set out by the Shire of Murrindindi.  Send your entry through via one of the following options:

• Online
• Post

How will your logo be judged?

The community from the Shire of Murrindindi will view the logos online, download the ‘voting form’ online, and decide on the logo that best appeals to them. The logo with the most votes will win the competition.

How will I know if I have won?

The winner will be notified from their first preference of contact through the application details; within 21 days of closing date. Should you not hear from us within 21 days your entry has been unsuccessful on this occasion.

Closing Date: All entries must be received by 28^th July 2010, 5.00pm
